Anne Caird

After spending many years in the legal and human resources field, Anne left the corporate world to head up the accounting, legal and financial functions of In Language Radio as the CFO. She handles all human resource aspects of the company, putting to use her graduate degrees in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology.
Jaime Arbona
President and Founder

Jaime Arbona began his career in ethnic broadcasting in 1984 with Universal Broadcasting Corporation (UBC, Minneola, NY) in San Francisco. He joined Douglas Broadcasting, Inc., (Palo Alto, CA) in 1987 serving as National Sales Manager until 1994. That year he formed ILR to serve a variety of ethnic radio broadcasters.
Irene Tsan Fong
Operations Director

Irene started her broadcasting career in entry-level positions during her college years at SFSU’s Broadcasting & Electronic Arts Department. After graduation, she worked her way up to TV Program Manager at TVB-SF in 2002 and then GM at KVTO and KVVN in 2016. She worked from the bottom up in both ethnic radio and TV, along the way amassing a wide-ranging skill set in both managerial and technical areas. She now brings her experiences to ILR, further enhancing ILR’s mission of serving the ethnic community in broadcasting. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, as well as English.
Phung Dang
Vietnamese Program Director

Phung Dang's radio career begins in the 1960's on board the USS Sanctuary while serving in the Vietnamese military. In 1989 he founded a Vietnamese subcarrier radio station in California. In 1992 he founded Vietnamese Radio Services and joined ILR to create the nation's first Vietnamese-language radio station, KSJX-AM.
Music Chow
Associate / Producer

A classically trained pianist, Music Chow is also a veteran radio producer and voice talent, having done on-air work with Chinese broadcasting companies in both California and Hong-Kong. Music's voice can be heard on commercials for Toyota, Albertson's, McDonald's, SBC, Wells' Fargo Bank and Ford on Chinese radio stations throughout California.
J. R. Arbona
Marketing Director

J. R. started his radio career off at 15 years old as the youngest paid radio DJ in San Francisco History. He worked for Inner Cities Broadcasting and ILR throughout college, before leaving for the automotive industry. After years of consulting with ILR, J. R. came back as the Marketing Director at the beginning of 2015.
Sam Arbona
Account Executive
San Francisco
Sam grew up around radio stations, studios and transmitters so deciding on a career in media was not surprising. Sam worked through college (UC Santa Barbara, BA in Communications) as a licensed Personal Trainer and Sales Exec (World Gym) where he developed a propensity for self-starting. Sam will handle advertising sales and servicing for ILR.
