About Us
In-Language Radio
The rapidly changing ethnic diversity of the US is being reflected on the radio dial. 'Scanning' the AM or FM dial on your car radio, you are increasingly likely to encounter non-English programming. ILR is proud to have been part of this change over the past thirty years. The beauty of radio being its immediacy, its interactive nature, its local relevance and its familiarity across cultures, radio will remain the first line of communication within America's cultural minorities.
With Agent/Associates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Houston, San Jose and Orange County California, In-Language Radio is the nation's largest and oldest Ethnic Radio rep firm. ILR has converted more radio stations to ethnic broadcasting, placed more Ethnic Radio buys and worked with more Ethnic Radio Programmers than any one rep firm or consultant in the US. Many of ILR's Agent/Associates have spent their entire careers in this industry. The founder, Jaime Arbona, has been involved exclusively in Ethnic Radio since 1984. Linda Johnson-Hayes since 1974. With the experience of its other associates, ILR brings over a hundred years of contacts and expertise to the programming table.
